Please note that although we take extreme care to ensure colour representation and description of each yarn is accurate on our website, however there may be a slight variance depending you how your monitor is set up.
Yarn Pile reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.

Customer Orders

When you place an order to purchase goods from us you will be sent a confirmation email containing details of your order. A contract between you and Yarnpile.co.uk exists only when the order has been accepted and payment processed.

We are regularly updating our website to ensure that we only show item(s) in stock, however, if an item you have ordered is out of stock we will advise you within 3 working days by email or telephone and will tell you when the item(s) will be in stock. You can then decide if you want to put the item(s) on back order or change/cancel your order and receive a full refund.

All our products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to edit or remove items from our site, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion.

Prices

Goods are invoiced at the price prevailing at the time of order.

Payment

Standard Payment Terms

Yarn Pile’s standard terms of payment are pay before delivery and these terms will apply except in the case of transactions where different terms are agreed in writing.

Credit cards

yarnpile.co.uk takes all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or order from yarnpile.co.uk.

Damaged Items

If part or all of your order is damaged in transit, you must notify us in writing or by email within 7 days of receipt and we will resend your order on receipt of the damaged goods at no extra cost to you. Please include a description of the damage together with a copy of the original receipt.

Legal

Yarn Pile retains copyright on all the text, graphics and trademarks displayed on this site.

No reproduction of any part of the site may be sold or distributed for commercial gain, nor shall it be modified or incorporated in any other work, publication or site, whether in hard copy or electronic format, including postings to any other site. Yarn Pile reserves all other rights.

Returns and refunds policy complies with the EU Distance Selling Directive 2000 and forms part of the UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, where the customer does not meet the vendor.

Risk of loss and title to items purchased from Yarn Pile, passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier and we shall not be liable if buyer fails to take delivery at the given address.

Health & Safety

All goods supplied as a distributor do not present a hazard to Health & Safety, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1987, when they are (a) used properly for the purpose for which they are intended and (b) reasonable and normal precautions in their use thereof are taken by the customer.
